You walk the ancient paths; we handle the details so you can focus on the journey.

Meet your guide

Hi, I'm Stephanie

Travel agent · former teacher · mom of three sons · grandma of two

I'm a travel agent, a former teacher, a mom of three sons, and a grandma of two. I love being outdoors, exploring new things, adventuring with my family and friends, and curating meaningful trips. I heard a teacher say she was going to walk the Camino in Spain for a month over her summer vacation, and I immediately went home and started researching. I knew I wanted to go do it. Walking the Camino changed how I see myself — and I wanted other women to have that same reset without sacrificing comfort or community. We handle the logistics, lodging, and luggage so you can focus on the trail, the coaching themes, and the friendships that form when you walk together.

Walk with us Say hello

The Shell & Sole difference

Inspired by the best women's walking retreats on the Camino — with the comfort and coaching depth that set us apart from backpack-only trips.

Comfortable lodging

Clean hotels with AC, private bathrooms, and no surprise off-trail taxi runs in the dark. Your rest matters.

Coaching on the trail

Six days, six invitations — guided reflection inward and outward, shared with your group on the trail.

Small women's community

Intimate groups (max 12) so you actually get to know your fellow pilgrims.

Transparent pricing

Clear payment milestones, itemized inclusions, and no hidden fees for luggage or trail support.

Walk at your own pace

This is not a race. Every day has planned regroup points so faster walkers can linger at cafés and slower walkers never feel rushed or left behind.

Before you fly

Great pilgrimages start before the first step. We build community early so you arrive knowing faces on the trail.

Pilgrim voices

Real stories from real walkers — we're gathering testimonials from past expeditions. Yours could be here next.

Common questions

Do I need to be an experienced hiker?

No — but you should be able to walk 10+ miles comfortably before departure. Our 16-week training plan helps you get there. We match daily distances to real fitness levels.

Can I come solo?

Yes! Many pilgrims travel alone and leave with new friends. We offer roommate matching for shared rooms when you're ready to request it.

What's included in the trip price?

Lodging, daily luggage transfer, pilgrim credentials, group apparel, trail guides, coaching journal, and most trail meals — see each trip page for the full list.
