Frequently asked questions
Everything you're wondering before you pack your boots.
Before you book
Who are these trips for?
Our departures are designed for women who want community, comfortable lodging, and meaningful reflection on the Camino. You don't need to be an athlete — you do need willingness to train and walk most days.
How big are the groups?
We keep groups intimate — typically 6–12 pilgrims per departure — so you get real connection, not a crowd.
Can I travel solo?
Absolutely. Solo travelers are welcome and often become close friends on the trail. Ask us about roommate matching if you'd like a shared room.
Is there a single-room option?
Yes — single supplements are available on a limited basis. Email us for current availability and pricing for your chosen departure.
What fitness level do I need?
You should comfortably walk 10+ miles before your trip. Follow our 16-week training checklist. We'll discuss your fitness on registration so we can support you on trail days.
On the trail
Do I walk at my own pace?
Yes. We use regroup points each day so faster walkers can enjoy cafés and slower walkers never feel rushed. WhatsApp keeps everyone connected between meeting points.
How much do I carry each day?
Your main bag is transferred hotel-to-hotel. On the trail you carry a daypack with water, snacks, layers, and essentials — see our packing list.
What if I need a rest day or shorter stage?
Talk to us. We coordinate support rides or shorter options when needed. Your safety and enjoyment come first.
Are meals included?
Most trail-day meals are covered or supported with daily meal cash — see your specific trip page for details. Arrival and departure days are usually on your own.
Can you accommodate dietary needs?
Tell us on your registration form. Spain and Portugal are increasingly vegetarian-friendly; we do our best with allergies and preferences when we know in advance.
Logistics & money
What's included vs. not included?
Each trip page lists inclusions (lodging, luggage, credentials, group gear, etc.) and exclusions (flights, some transfers, insurance). Our home page has a summary table too.
How do payments work?
A small holding deposit reserves your spot, then a non-refundable deposit and final balance on dates listed per trip. Stripe checkout is coming online; until then we invoice after registration.
Do I need travel insurance?
We strongly recommend trip cancellation and medical evacuation insurance. It's not included in your package price.
What's your cancellation policy?
See our Terms & Cancellation page. Deposits are non-refundable after the stated deadline; we recommend insurance for unexpected changes.
